A friend of mine recently posted this Gotye video for “Somebody That I Used To Know” and reminded me of how great this video (and song) really is. I know it’s gained some traction lately, due to the Walk Off The Earth cover that is up on YouTube, but the whole “Making Mirrors” album is fantastic and if you haven’t heard it, I would recommend giving it a listen.
Also, any other Elliott Smith fans noticed that two of the tracks from “Making Mirrors” share titles with two tracks from Elliott Smith’s “Figure 8” ? (‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and ‘Easy Way Out’) Coincidence?

did i ever think that i would become a fan of lauren conrad the designer? oh, hell no.
but i always admit when i’m wrong, so after seeing the third collection (for spring 2012) of her new line paper crown, i will confidently admit that i was pretty impressed. these clothes are cute, y’all! the clothes are available on revolve clothing and at nordstrom for not-super-extremely-awful prices ranging from $180 to $460.
“Mister Crew alerts us to these RRL shots. At first sight it was hard to tell which century these hailed from, in terms of authenticity they are as close to the real deal as we’ve ever seen. Anyone with access to the internet and a tumblr account will be familiar with the look and feel of early twentieth century portraits and mugshots. The attention to detail, from the backdrops to the furniture, lighting to studio frames is incredible. The clothes aren’t half bad either.”
