Regardless of all the mixed reactions over Zooey Deschanel (i.e. why is she now singing girly 70s pop with M.Ward/why does she always insist on playing the manic pixie dream girl-are those really the only roles offered to her/why did she marry that dude from Death Cab and crush thousands of fanboys’ dreams/why did she decide to do that Cotton commercial where she walks doing vaguely hipster things to the soundtrack of her own singing/does she really have an entire closet devoted to vintage dresses/if we were friends would she let me borrow one of the millions of said vintage dresses in her collection? you know—just the big, important questions) I am curious about how this show will play out.
Could be great or could be more of the same old, guess we will have to wait and find out? I think I will personally reserve judgment until I see the first episode.
